1 pound of fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and continue beating until well combined and smooth.
Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to overmix.
Gently fold in about two-thirds of the sliced strawberries into the cream cheese and Cool Whip mixture. Reserve the remaining strawberries for topping.
Pour the strawberry cream cheese mixture into the graham cracker crust. Spread it evenly to fill the crust completely.
Arrange the remaining sliced strawberries on top of the pie in a decorative pattern.
Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
