Crispy delicious Air Fryer Buffalo Wings Easy recipe for flavorful juicy chicken wings Enjoy restaurantquality wings made at home
Total Time:35 minutes
Yield:4-6 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and wingettes
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
½ cup Buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Blue cheese or ranch dressing, for serving (Optional)
Celery and carrot sticks, for serving (Optional)
Instructions
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Make sure the wings are evenly coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
While the wings are cooking, prepare the Buffalo sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the Buffalo wing sauce and melted butter. Heat over low heat until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a clean bowl. Pour the Buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces and vegetable sticks.
